Do your homework before taking your vehicle in for repairs or service.

Don’t ignore your cars warning signals.

You know your car better than anyone else. You drive it every day and know how it feels and sounds when everything is right. Inspect your car frequently, Check for:

• Unusual sounds, odors, drips, leaks, smoke, warning lights, gauge readings.
  
• Changes in acceleration, engine performance, gas mileage, fluid levels.
  
• Worn tires, belts, hoses.
  
• Problems in handling, braking, steering, vibrations.
  
• Note when the problem occurs.
  
• Is it constant or periodic?
  
• When the vehicle is cold or after the engine has warmed up?
  
• At all speeds? Only under acceleration? During braking? When shifting?
  
• When did the problem first start?

Once you are at our location, communicate your findings.

• Be prepared to describe the symptoms.
  
• Carry a written list of the symptoms that you can give us.
  
• Resist the temptation to suggest a specific course of repair. Let our technician diagnose and recommend a remedy.

Stay involved. . . Ask questions.

• Ask as many questions as you need.
  
• Don’t rush us to make an on-the-spot diagnosis. Expect to be called to discuss the problem, course of action, and costs before work begins.
  
• Before you leave, be sure you understand all shop policies regarding labor rates, guarantees, and acceptable methods of payment.
  
• Leave a telephone number where you can be called.

1.) Buhl’s can offer a loaner vehicle while yours is being repaired…

That’s correct. We understand that sometimes unexpected repairs puts the owner at a disadvantage when transportation is a necessity. Thats why I offer loaner vehicles for your use while your car is being repaired. You no longer need to be inconvenienced when your car is in our shop.

2.) Worried about us because you’ve never used us?

Totally understandable…Be assured, we warranty all our repairs. Additionally, our clients are provided an estimate which includes prices for parts and labor, as well as any manufacturers warrentees. We only use the most reputable vendors and parts suppliers that have, in most cases, 1 year parts & labor warrentees. That is why my business is growing by leaps and bounds while my competitor’s are slow.

3.) Buhl’s provides a FREE 27-point maintenance check with every Lube, Oil, & Filter Service…

I’m looking for good customers, nice people, and the select few who want their vehicles taken care of properly and in the repair business, that means regular scheduled maintenance. We believe by performing our 27-point maintenance check, we can sometimes prevent costly repairs.

The owner, Tony Buhl, has been a master mechanic for over 25 years and employs only ASE certified technicians.One of our certified staff is available Monday through Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

5.) Never worried that we’ll do unauthorized work.

We only take instruction for repairs and provide estimates to the vehicle owner before the work is started.

6.) What if I need A tow?

Good question. Buhl’s has an arrangement with Roger’s Towing, A1 Towing, and Tri-County Towing to tow any vehicle to our shop 24/7. Call  Roger’s Towing at 618-537-2468, A1 Towing at 618-628-9479 or Tri-County at 618 537-6181 and tell them that you want your car towed to Buhl’s Auto Repair. They are extremely reliable and friendly! Also, your tow payment will be deferred and added to your repair invoice.

7.) Do you offer work on vehicles under warranty?

Buh’s does perform all after-market and extended warranty work. The parts we use meet or exceed the manufacturer’s specifications. However, if your vehicle is still covered under a manufacturers warrenty, we recommend you have your dealer perform the work as it will be free of charge. Be aware that there are maintenance services required to keep your warranty valid. We can perform these recommended maintenance services like timing belts, oil changes, transmission fluid, flushes, etc.

8.) Our shop is conveniently located in Lebanon..

Our shop is 5 blocks from the corner of Route 4 and Highway 50 in Lebanon. Many customers drop their car off in the morning on their way to work and pick it up on their way home. If you go to work earlier than our business hours, no problem… you can leave your keys in the “Key drop box” and we’ll repair your car while you’re at work!

9.)The best advertising is word of mouth…
